Team PhotoThe South Shore Conquistadors is a comprehensive hockey organization supporting hockey instruction and team play. We offer programs from Mite to Midget levels, for boys and girls.  Now entering our 8th season, the Conquistador programs are led by long-term youth hockey coach John Heffernan, former Boston Bruin Tim Sweeney and Bruin draftee and former Weymouth North Varsity head coach Kevin Heffernan.

As we begin to conclude the 2009-2010 season, we look back at a great season for all levels.  Our teams have won a combined 11 tournaments this past season and many of our teams are near or at the top of their divisions.  More importantly than the number of wins is the tremendous progress our players have made since the season started. Our focus on skill sessions and practice has a huge impact on the development of the player.

There will be some exciting new offerings in our 2010-2011 season. We are proud to announce our endorsement from USA Hockey as the largest solely independent youth program sanctioned by USA Hockey and the NHL.  This is a major accomplishment for our program.  For the past seven years our focus has been on skills, small games, tournaments and practice. We will reduce the number of games and tournaments our teams play, increase skills and practices and offer off-ice conditioning programs next season.

If you want your hockey player to have a clear path from Mite to Midget, have the experience of a lifetime, meet friends from all areas, develop and improve as a hockey player and be ready for high school hockey, “the Conquistadors program is the choice for you.”

The Conquistadors program is entering its 8th season. Current and former Conquistadors have gone on to play on the Bridgewater Bandits, Scituate High, Norwell High, BC High, Catholic Memorial, Cushing Academy, and Thayer. We are now offering a unique hockey program for all levels from Mites to U18 along with 4 Jr. High teams. Please read carefully and select the program that is best suited for your child. Space is limited and all applications will be evaluated by the management team.

We offer skills, practices, games and tournaments. Our goal is to make your child a better hockey player. For more information please contact John Heffernan at info@conqy.com or (781) 534-8842.
